Instructor Profile

Michele started Tae Kwon Do at age 15 in the hope to find a hobby she really enjoyed. At her very first lesson she got bitten by the Tae Kwon Do bug and has barely missed a lesson in 19 years of training. She is proof that anyone can start Tae Kwon Do and succeed, as she began her journey from a shy and unfit teenager who didn’t enjoy PE, to a confident athletic 5x World Champion.

Michele is a Personal Safety Trainer  and an ex secondary school teacher of 12 years, which means that teaching is in her nature. Nothing rewards her more than seeing her students achieve and succeed, be it a national competition, or a single technique. She is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to her class 100%. She teaches Police and Police staff self defence and First Aid.

She is a 5th Degree Black belt, qualified instructor, CRB checked and first aid trained. Not only will you get expert tuition tailored to your own abilities, she is also committed to ensuring safe training for everyone. Michele also holds full umpire and international referee qualifications with the TAGB.

Tae Kwon Do can focus on anything you wish, but Michele has been very successful in National and Local championships winning over 80 trophies and medals to date! She has 5 World Champion titles in sparring and power events.
